We make sure that getting THCS is as easy as possible. There’s generally three ways:
If you don’t yet have benefits, one of our awesome partners will work with you to choose health plans and the other types of coverage you want to offer. Then we’ll get your team’s information and health plans loaded up onto your THCS portal and start enrollment.
If you already have coverage, there are two ways to get started. You can sign a “Broker of Record” letter to make one of our partners your broker, keep your current benefits, and we get your team enrolled onto the platform (which is very fast, takes very little time, and is super-easy). We can take a look at optimizing your benefits at a later date, whenever you’d like.
Alternatively, one of our partners can take a look at the benefits you have now and research ways to optimize your setup. In that case, we’d have you assign that partner as your “Broker of Record”, and we get your team on THCS and your new benefits in place.
To ensure that your company is compliant with regulations mandated by health care reform, THCS Health will be able to track that health insurance was offered to employees, track waiting periods to ensure they fall within the 90-day window allowed by PPACA, ensure employees do not elect over the regulated amounts for FSA/HSA plans, and auto-enroll employees in eligible products. THCS can also be set up to deliver required notices to employees through our communication platform, and track and record employee sign-off and receipt of documents. THCS can even be the participatory wellness program that allows employers to differentiate premiums based on wellness.

Yes! You can do one of two things. If you currently have a broker who you’d like to keep, simply tell your broker to get THCS. You’ll keep all your benefits exactly as they are today and we’ll work with your broker to bring those benefits onto the THCS platform. All that work is done by us and your broker, including importing your employees’ records and all your plan details. Then, each time a new employee joins or someone moves on from the company, they can enroll or get on COBRA right from the THCS portal. Plain and simple. If you’d like to work with one of our partners instead, we will connect you with a great licensed broker in your area who will work with you to maintain or redesign your benefits strategy as we bring you onto the platform.
Yes! We integrate with leading payroll and HCM vendors, and can work with your chosen one as well.
If you’re pleased with your current broker and they’ve done well looking out for your best interests, we would love to work with them to get you onto the THCS platform. We work with the country’s best, most innovative brokerage firms. You can keep your broker relationship and use THCS’s technology platform for benefits management.
THCS has two quoting engines covering the individual market within the shopping experience. If an employer has employees who need to shop for individual products, or wants to be able to offer coverage to individuals through the federal or state exchanges, adding either of these services to your THCS offering can streamline that experience and provide a similar benefits enrollment experience for all individuals, regardless of employment type. This makes it easy to offer subsidy-eligible individual/family health insurance plans from the federal/state exchanges on the THCS Health platform, as well as off-exchange, non-subsidy-eligible plans.
THCS is always HIPAA-compliant. We protect all member health information with 3DES Encryption, and the Personal Health Information (PHI) we collect is accessible only through strong authentication, which is IP-restricted. We perform regular site audits and host all servers in a secure, HIPAA-compliant environment. All web traffic to THCS Health is secured using 256-Bit SSL Encryption. Only licensed health insurance brokers have access to health insurance applications containing PHI, and our team works on HIPAA-compliant computers via secure connections. Under no circumstances would THCS Health share member data of any kind with a third party without the member’s express written consent.
